The story of the brand starts with my early interest in business. At 15 years old, I began selling things here and there. At the same time, I was interested in fitness, as being skinny led me to the gym, which changed my life and my approach towards it. One day, a friend of my brother introduced me to a clothing brand focused on fitness and apparel. I was offered a chance to sell their products via WhatsApp and manage their Instagram profile. I excelled at it, and by the time I was 17 or 18, I was working on a commission basis of 10%. As I improved, I asked for an increase in my commission to 30% or to be made a partner, but he said no. This was a crushing blow, and that day I resolved to build my own brand someday.

When college started, I began selling sneakers online via Instagram in my first year. Gym remained a constant part of my life. After some time, I discussed the idea of starting a brand with my brother. I would handle marketing and sales, and my father offered to invest the money we needed to start. He asked us to bring a business plan, which we diligently worked on for three months. However, when we presented it to him, he revealed he didn't have the money to fund it. This news shattered us, leading to a fight, and we decided to pursue our dream independently and left the house.

Due to our financial situation, I had to leave my studies, though I was not very interested in them. I started working as a gym trainer because I had the knowledge and physique for it. After gaining some stability, I began working on the brand again. Many people helped us, while others used us, resulting in a loss. Some friends joined in to help with photography and videography. Our first manufactured batch was a failure, but the second batch came out right. We started this in a one-room rented apartment and began selling door-to-door offline.

That's how ATHFLEX was born.
